Large-format print covers everything that has to be seen from across a car park: site banners, event backdrops, building signage, promotional boards and temporary notices. We print, finish and — where you need it — install, from our unit in Rutherglen.
Typical turnaround
2–5 working days; next-day on urgent runs
Areas we cover
Glasgow, Rutherglen, Cambuslang, East Kilbride, Paisley and most of Scotland
PVC banner is the default for temporary and semi-permanent messaging: cheap, printable at scale, and easy to hem and eyelet. Where a banner is going onto scaffolding or an exposed elevation, mesh is the right call — the perforations let wind through instead of turning the banner into a sail that tears its fixings out.
For rigid signage, foamex suits interior and sheltered exterior panels, correx is the disposable option for short-term site and estate agency boards, and dibond aluminium composite is what we specify when a sign needs to stay flat and presentable outdoors for years.
Finishing and fixing
Finishing decides how long a banner survives. We weld hems rather than tape them, set brass eyelets at sensible centres for the span, add reinforcement patches at corners, and offer pole pockets for gate and railing mounting.
Fixings are specified for the substrate you are fixing to — bungees to fencing, cable ties to Heras panels, screwed battens to timber hoarding, and mechanical fixings with the right anchor for masonry. Getting that wrong is how banners end up in the road.
Artwork, print quality and turnaround
Files come to us as PDF, AI or EPS with fonts outlined; we set up scale, bleed and hem allowance so nothing important disappears into a fold. If you do not have artwork we will lay it out from your logo and copy.
Print is UV-stable and colour-managed, so a reprint six months later matches the original. Straightforward banner work typically turns round in a few working days; larger installed schemes are programmed around your access and event dates.
What we specify
440gsm and 510gsm PVC banner media
Wind-rated printed mesh for scaffold and fence spans
3mm and 5mm foamex panels
Dibond aluminium composite for permanent exterior signage
Correx for short-term site and estate boards
How we deliver the work
1. Sizing and fixings
We start from where the banner is going: fence line, scaffold, building elevation or exhibition frame, and choose the size, hem and fixing pattern from the structure available.
2. Artwork setup
Large-format artwork is scaled to viewing distance, with text sized so it reads from the kerb, and safe margins kept clear of eyelets, hems and frame channels.
3. Print and finish
Printed on 440–650gsm PVC or mesh, then hemmed all round with eyelets at set centres, pole pockets or a keder edge depending on how it is mounted.
4. Installation
We fit with bungees or cable ties at correct centres rather than tight rope, so the banner can move with the wind instead of tearing at the corners.
What affects the price
Every job is priced to the site, so we don't publish a fixed list. These are the main things that move the price. Send photos or measurements and we'll give you a clear, itemised quote.

Whether installation is required
Typical turnaround
Standard PVC banners are usually printed and finished within two to three working days, with same-week installation. Event work with a fixed deadline is scheduled in production to land ahead of the date, not on it.
What makes a good result
Mesh rather than solid PVC on exposed scaffold runs, to cut wind load
Reinforced corners and eyelets at sensible centres, not just four corners
Text sized for the actual viewing distance
Colour-managed print so the same brand red matches across banners printed months apart
Standards, materials and compliance
The detail we work to on every job of this type — checked at survey, recorded on the specification and evidenced on request.
Wind loading
Mesh media and reinforced eyelet spacing specified for exposed elevations rather than a standard hem on every job.
Fire-rated media
B1 / Class 0 rated media supplied where the banner or fabric is used inside a public building.
Materials
Welded-hem PVC, blockout media for double-sided work, and fabric prints for interior and exhibition use.
Frequently asked questions
What size can you print?
We print in continuous rolls up to full banner widths and weld panels together for anything larger, so building-scale graphics are not a problem.
Do I need mesh instead of PVC?
If the banner is exposed to wind on scaffolding, a high elevation or an open fence line, yes. Sheltered wall-mounted banners are fine in solid PVC.
Can you install as well as print?
Yes. We install across Glasgow and most of Scotland, including at height on scaffold and on live construction sites with RAMS supplied.
How quickly can I get a banner?
Standard banners are usually a few working days from artwork approval. Tell us the deadline and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you commit.
What size banner do I need for a building elevation?
As a rule of thumb, letter height in millimetres should be about the viewing distance in metres times 25. We calculate it against the actual sightline and confirm the size in the quote.
How long will an outdoor banner last?
A correctly hung PVC banner lasts two to three years outdoors in the west of Scotland. Failures are nearly always fixing failures — over-tensioned corners or too few ties — rather than the print fading.
