Scope

Frosted manifestation with cut logotype, reeded privacy film to glazed partitions

The brief

A refurbished Glasgow office floor was divided by dark-framed glazed partitions and full-height glass entrance doors. It needed compliant manifestation on every glazed run, real privacy in the rooms behind them, and the Truly Independent identity carried onto the glass — all without closing up a light, open space with a herringbone oak floor and feature lighting.

What we did

1. Step 1

Fitted the entrance door leaves with a full-height frost panel and cut the Truly Independent wing mark and wordmark out of the film, so the brand appears in clear glass against the frost — bold at the door, but the glazing still passes light through the letterforms.

2. Step 2

Ran the same frosted panel treatment across the fixed side lights either side of the doors, keeping panel heights consistent across both leaves so the logos sit at the same datum whether the doors are open or closed.

3. Step 3

Applied a vertical reeded (fluted) privacy film as a mid-height band across the open glazed runs behind the entrance — it breaks sightlines at seated and standing eye level while reading as a deliberate design feature against the dark frames rather than an afterthought.

4. Step 4

Left the glazing above the privacy band clear so daylight and the views between rooms carry straight through the floor.

5. Step 5

Installed wet-applied film in a single visit around the occupied fit-out, with the glass cleaned and all offcuts removed the same day.

The result

Every glazed run now carries compliant manifestation, the entrance carries the brand at first contact, and the working rooms have genuine privacy at eye level — while the floor keeps the open, daylit feel the fit-out was designed around.
