The brief
Beanie & Blades took on a neighbourhood shop unit for a new barber shop. The full-width shop window looked straight onto the cutting floor, so the brief was to give clients privacy inside, smarten the frontage, and put the brand on the glass and fascia — all ahead of opening day.
What we did
- Step 1
Fitted the shop window with a full blackout film, taking the glazing to a solid, opaque black that blocks sightlines into the shop entirely and gives a clean backdrop to the branding.
- Step 2
Cut the circular Beanie & Blades badge — beanie graphic, barber shop lettering, phone number and 'Walk-Ins Welcome' line — in white and red vinyl and centred it on the blacked-out window, so the logo reads as the single focal point of the frontage.
- Step 3
Produced matching fascia graphics: the 'BEANIE & BLADES' lettering in cut white vinyl across the black fascia panel, flanked by the beanie mark and barber pole graphics at each end.
- Step 4
Added an opening-hours panel to the entrance door glass, set out to match the badge style.
- Step 5
Completed the full frontage — film, window graphic, fascia and door panel — in a single visit so the shop could open on schedule.
The result
A smart, cohesive frontage: total privacy on the cutting floor, a logo that stands out from the pavement against the black glass, and fascia branding that makes the shop easy to spot along the parade.
